ART TERRE AGENCY
Sustainable development, ecosystem, fair trade, recycling, green products, eco-consumption...
With the aim of creating a link between these words, Laurence Vittet opened her first eco-design shop in Paris in 2004. In this shop you can find the brands of young eco-designers such as Ann Van Hove, Art Gens, Art D'eco Design, Bilum, Brindi, Ekobo, Jud'Ethik, Muskhane and more...
After 3 years, Laurence realised that the impact of the shop, even if real, was too localised, and she was also aware of the difficulties facing young designers in finding distribution channels.
From this, the idea of an agency that creates links between eco-designers and distributors has taken shape thanks to the trust of designers such as Brindi, Art Gens,Art d'Eco, Eliza Gabriel, and Jud'Ethik.
The Art Terre agency was set up in September 2007.
In December 2007, Laurence Vittet met Letizia Asselin who was very enthusiastic about the project and joined the agency. Together they are fine tuning new development strategies for the creation and distribution of products by young eco-designers.
BRINDI
The Brindi brand was created in 2005 by Aline Balbous, a 26 year old designer who has always been aware of environmental issues. Brindi loves nature and this has been the inspiration to create new objects that bring out the poetry and beauty of nature's shapes and colours. So as to preserve this source of inspiration, Brindi applies principles of sustainable development, paying attention to the materials used to produce its collections. The objects are produced by small French companies and work programs, as well as through fair trade, which Brindi encourages by promoting work without frontiers.
