In honour of the 50th birthday of the famous "Panton Chair" created by Verner Panton, students at the International School of Monza have presented their "eco-sustainable" interpretation of the famous piece of design.
The collection of the "19 Green Panton Chairs" will be sold at auction just before Christmas and the funds raised will go to the "Africa Bougou Foundation" ti help develop villages in sub-Saharan Africa.
The 19 Panton Chairs have been created out of all kinds of recycled materials such as clothes, paper, yoghurt pots, toys, newspapers, CDs, plastic bottle tops, tin cans and plastic bags, to name but a few!
